On the International Enforced Disappearance Day of 30th August, Tamils held a vigil in Trafalgar Square, London for Enforced Disappearance of Tamils in Sri Lanka by Sri Lankan Forces on 30/08/2024.
International day of the victims of enforced disappearances is observed all over the world on August 30. The day has been chosen to raise awareness of those who have been arrested and disappeared for various reasons by police or security forces in many countries around the world.
